Ratings Breakdown:
Due to the State of the Union Address, all overnight household rating results by network and by individual show are approximate. “Ellen’s Game of Games” on NBC won the 8 p.m. ET hour, with a 3.8 rating/6 share in households. On ABC, “American Housewife” officially inherited the Tuesday 8 p.m. half-hour with a 3.4/ 6 (#2), which was well below recent time period occupant “The Conners.” With weaker lead-in support, freshman “The Kids Are Alright” slipped to a 2.7/ 4 (#3) at 8:30 p.m.

According to ABC at the Press Tour yesterday, a second season renewal for “The Conners” is on the way.

On CBS, an encore telecast of new competition “The World’s Best” scored a 3.1/ 5 in the household overnights in the 8 p.m. hour, followed by a repeat of “The Masked Singer” on Fox (#4: 2.4/ 4) and “The Flash” on The CW (#5: 1.5/ 2).
