Not even the “2017 MLB All-Star Game” on Fox could compete with summer NBC blockbuster “America’s Got Talent,” which lifted NBC to Tuesday overnight victory with an 8.0 rating/14 share in households from 8-10 p.m. That led into a 4.7/ 8 for this summer’s top-rated new series, “World of Dance.” Yes…lead-in still matters.

The American League’s 2 to 1 victory over the National League on the “MLB All-Star Game” resulted in a very solid 6.2/11 in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. (results for Fox after 10 p.m. was not available). Comparably, this was a minor increase over the 6.0/11 for the “All-Star Game” on the year-ago evening (which resulted in overnight victory for Fox). ABC, NBC and The CW were in all repeats last night.
