Ratings Breakdown:
It was another Tuesday household overnight for CBS care of dramas “NCIS” (#1 for the night: 7.7 rating/13 share at 8 p.m.), “FBI” (6.2/10 at 9 p.m.) and “NCIS: New Orleans” (4.8/ 9). Although “NCIS: New Orleans” bested competing “New Amsterdam” (#2: 3.8/ 7) by 26 percent in households, the NBC freshman medical drama is still the show to beat in the Tuesday 10 p.m. hour in adults 18-49.

Third at 10 p.m. was “1969” on ABC at a modest 2.0/ 4.

Earlier in the evening on ABC, the network aired a 9 p.m. edition of recently introduced comedy “Bless This Mess” (#3: 2.4/ 4). Comparably, that was equal to both lead-in “The Kids Are Alright” and “black-ish” one week earlier in the time period.
