Ratings Breakdown:
Given the live nature of the election coverage, overnight results for ABC, CBS and NBC are approximate. Combined, the three networks totaled an 11.1 rating/18 share in the household overnights. NBC topped the trio, with an estimated 4.1/ 7 in primetime. Next was ABC at a 3.9/ 6 followed by CBS at a 3.1/ 5. Of course, this does not include coverage on PBS and the cable news networks.

Only Fox offered original scripted programming last night care of its combination of “The Gifted” (#4: 1.8/ 3 at 8 p.m. ET), which is heavily social media dependent, and “Lethal Weapon” (#5: 0.5/ 1 at 9 p.m.). The CW featured encore telecasts of “The Flash” (#5: 0.6/ 1) and “Black Lightning” (#5: 0.4/ 1).
