Ratings Breakdown:
It was no contest on this summer Tuesday, with NBC’s combination of “America’s Got Talent” (7.2 rating/13 share from 8-10 p.m.) and “World of Dance” (3.9/ 7 at 10 p.m.) a solid first in each of the six half-hours in the household overnights.

In series-premiere news, The CW fantasy drama “The Outpost” was left at the starting gate with a mere 0.5/ 1 in the 9 p.m. hour (which aired out of a 0.7/ 1 for “The 100” at 8 p.m.).

Also original last night was a special edition of ABC’s “20/20,” Thailand Rescue: Race Against Time, at a 2.7/ 5 in the 9 p.m. hour (#3). And Fox featured its ratings-challenged combination of game shows “Beat Shazam!” (#5: 1.7/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and “Love Connection” (#4: 1.3/ 2 at 9 p.m.). The remainder of the line-up were all repeats.
