Ratings Breakdown:
Annual CBS special, “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials” topped the night with a 5.2 rating/9 share at 8 p.m. in the household overnights. Comparably, that bested competing “Ellen’s Game of Games” on NBC (#2: 4.2/ 7) by 24 percent and it led the Eye net to Wednesday overnight victory.

A second original installment of “Ellen’s Game of Games” was steady at a 4.2/ 7 (#2) at 9 p.m., which will easily top the hour in adults 18-49.

Over at The CW, it was Tuesday overnight business as usual care of the pairing of “The Flash” (#5: 1.5/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and recent entry “Roswell, New Mexico” (#5: 1.0/ 2 at 9 p.m.). The remainder of the evening was all repeats.
