Wednesday Overnights: The Winter 2018 Olympics on NBC Continues to Rule

Ratings Breakdown:
The ongoing Winter Olympics on NBC scored an estimated 11.2 rating/19 share in households in primetime last night, peaking in the 9:30 p.m. ET half-hour at a 12.3/20. The 11 p.m. half-hour portion averaged a 10.6/20. As always, results for any live sporting event are always approximate in the overnights.

On CBS, “Big Brother – Celebrity Edition” finished in the distant No. 2 spot at 8 p.m., with a 3.5/ 6 in households. And that led into back-to-back episodes of “The Amazing Race,” which concludes for the season next Wednesday, at an average 2.7/ 5 from 9-11 p.m.

Also original last night were two hour-long specials on The CW: “Relationships Just for Laughs” (0.6/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “The Top 14 Greatest Valentine’s Movies of All Time” (0.5/ 1 at 9 p.m.). And ABC featured an original installment of “The Match Game,” hosted by Alec Baldwin, at a third-place 1.6/ 3 at 10 p.m. The remainder of the five network line-up was all repeats.
