NBC is a lock for summer dominance care of “America’s Got Talent”, which with 6.11 million viewers and a 0.7 rating/7 share in adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m. ET is the current day definition of a hit broadcast network series. Unfortunately, recent lead-out entry “Dancing With Myself” dipped to 2.32 million viewers (#2) and a 0.4/ 4 in the demo (#1) at 10 p.m.

There were two season finales, and both on ABC: “Holey Moley” (Viewers: #3, 2.21 million; A18-49: #2, 0.4/ 4 at 8 p.m.) and “Who Do You Believe?” (Viewers: #3, 1.44 million; A18-49: #3, 0.2/ 2 at 10 p.m.). In between was game show “The Chase” at 2.16 million viewers viewers (#3) and a 0.3/ 3 in adults 18-49 (#2t) at 9 p.m. Translation: ABC is not the summer destination of note on Tuesday. The only other original program last night was canceled The CW drama “Tom Swift” at 251,000 viewers and no registered fast affiliate results in the demo. Translation: Oy!
