      ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm – 8.2 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49): With American Idol and The Good Doctor, ABC once again finished a strong 2nd to The Voice-led NBC on Monday night in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6 vs. 1.8/7) and moved ahead of NBC to win the 10pm hour with The Good Doctor dominating Good Girls (1.6/6 vs. 1.0/4). ABC’s American Idol and The Good Doctor tied as Monday’s #2 show in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6), trailing only The Voice. The Good Doctor also qualified as Monday’s #1 scripted show in viewers and young adults.

      American Idol (8-10pm – 7.7 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49): Opposite NBC’s The Voice from 8-10pm, ABC’s American Idol took 2nd place in Total Viewers (7.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.6/6). Idol tied The Voice as Monday’s #1 TV show with Female Teens 12-17. Idol held 92% of its week-ago premiere on the night with Total Viewers and 89% in Adults 18-49

      The Good Doctor (10-11pm – 9.1 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49): At 10pm, The Good Doctor moved ABC into 1st place by a margin of 60% over runner up NBC’s Good Girls in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6 vs. 1.0/4). The Good Doctor was also the most watched show overall on Monday from 10-11pm (9.1 million).

      · The Good Doctor improved its time slot for ABC from the year-ago night by triple digits in viewers (+176% – 9.1 million vs. 3.3 million) and young adults (+129% – 1.6/6 vs. 0.7/3).

      AT 10 P.M., “GOOD GIRLS” MAINTAINS 100% WEEK TO WEEK

      NBC WINS MONDAY IN 18-49 AND TOTAL VIEWERS

      Monday Primetime Results:

      NBC wins Monday night in total viewers among the Big 4 for a sixth consecutive week and for a fifth time in six weeks in 18-49.

      “The Voice” (2.3/9 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

      · Is the #1 show of the night in 18-49 and total viewers.

      · Increases its margin over “American Idol” from last week’s +33% in 18-49 rating (2.4 vs. 1.8) to +44% (2.3 vs. 1.6).

      · Is currently retaining 100% of last week’s 2.3 in these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 and 96% of last week’s 2.4 in official nationals.

      · Is in line with the comparable telecast of the prior cycle in 18-49 (2.3 vs. 2.4 on Oct. 16, 2017) and is up +3% in total viewers (10.670 million vs. 10.365 million).

      · Is also in line the comparable year-ago telecast (2.3 vs. 2.4 on March 20, 2017, and 10.670 million vs. 10.740 million).

      · Will add significant viewership via DVR time-shifting and VOD — Monday’s “The Voice” has grown by +25% in 18-49 rating this season going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 2.15 to a 2.69) and +1.9 million viewers overall (10.3 million to 12.2 million). When projected 35-day non-linear viewing is included, the “Voice” 18-49 rating increases to a 3.29.

      “Good Girls” (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

      · Ranks #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and is #2 or tied for #2 among those nets in every other key demographic.

      · Is retaining 100% week to week in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 1.0) and 96% in total viewers (4.274 million vs. 4.460 million).

      · Matches NBC’s timeslot average this season prior to “Good Girls,” excluding Olympics, in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 1.0).

      · Will increase substantially via time-shifting and VOD – last week’s “Good Girls” grew by +39% in 18-49 (1.01 to 1.40) and +1.1 million viewers overall (4.5 million to 5.6 million) going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens.

      In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

      · In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” 2.2/6; “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” 2.7/7; and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 2.4/6.

      · In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” 0.7/4; “Late Show,” 0.5/3; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.7/4.

      · From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC’s “Nightline” averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

      · From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (1.3/5 in metered-market households); CBS’s “Late Late Show” (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: “Late Night” (0.4/3 in 18-49); “Late Late Show” (0.2/2).

      · At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
