  1. FROM NBC

NBC RATINGS NOTES FOR MONDAY, JULY 24 – PREMIERE OF ‘MIDNIGHT, TEXAS’ EASILY WINS 10 P.M. TIMESLOT

n Among the Big 4 networks, NBC finished #2 for the night in the 18-49 demo (1.2 rating/5 share) and #2 in total viewers (4.986 million).

n From 8-10 p.m., “American Ninja Warrior” was #2 in the timeslot in 18-49 (1.4) and #2 in total viewers (5.676 million).

    n “Ninja” rose in total viewers for each of its half-hours (5.149 million à 5.522 million à 5.999 million à 6.037 million), rose in 18-49 for its first three half-hours and was flat in the final half-hour (1.2 à 1.4 à 1.5 à 1.5).

n From 10-11 p.m., the premiere of “Midnight, Texas” won the timeslot in both 18-49 (0.9) and total viewers (3.604 million).

n “Midnight, Texas” handily defeated the premiere of ABC’s new drama “Somewhere Between” in all demos and total viewers in the 10 p.m. Monday timeslot.

  2. I don’t expect Somewhere Between to last much longer. Midnight, Texas might last a little longer; we’ll have to wait to see how much it drops next week.
