In metered-market results, NBC Sports coverage of the NFC Wild Card Playoff game featuring the Philadelphia Eagles at the Chicago Bears averaged a 22.9 rating, 40 share in metered-market households (not including digital) from 4:45-8 p.m. ET, the highest metered-market rating for any telecast since Super Bowl LII on NBC (Feb. 4, 2018), with an increase of +12% from the comparable window last year (20.4/35 for Panthers-Saints on Fox).
 
NBC’s 22.9/40 overnight rating for Eagles-Bears is the best for any NBC NFL Playoff since NBC “SNF” began in 2006 and the best Wild Card game for NBC in 25 years (23.3/41 for John Elway and the Broncos at the L.A. Raiders on Jan. 9, 1994).
 
NBC’s 22.9/40 overnight for Eagles-Bears was tops on the 2019 NFL Wild Card Weekend.

  1. That’s a real steep drop from the NFL to Golden Globes people just don’t care about these awards shows anymore.
