  1. Glad NBC found something that doesn’t need the Voice for a boost. I recommend putting “This is Us” Wednesday at 8PM in the Fall. It’s a family drama and would easily beat anything in that hour. I do NOT recommend Thursday though. It wouldn’t’ fare well against already established Greys Anatomy or BBT. Baby steps. What say you Marc?

I’m starting to lean toward ABC giving SHIELD a reduced order final season. Of course they could just outright can it after 4 seasons but then I hope they wrote a conclusive enough finale episode!

How sad is it that “The Mick” is FOX’s highest rated sitcom? LOL (Outside of animation of course). And this show is considered a show in for renewal SMH. New Girl should have called it quits about three years ago. This network is in a very DIRE situation. Probably worse than what NBC was in about five years ago. And that’s a tall order to top.

    • Since they invested 4 seasons’ worth of money into Shield, it’s obvious they’ll do at least 12 more episode to please the syndication people and get to 100.

They should have cut and run after the first 13 episodes as SHIELD has been a huge embarrassment, but I guess Mr. Iger would not permit his Big Marvel Show’s cancellation…

Maybe it fools people to renew flops…

Completely agree with you about FOX. They need to hire people with a sense of what audiences want to see rather than what wanna-be hipsters say they want to watch…

  2. I’ll disagree that there was any hits this season, and point out that Bull is still higher-rated than This Is Us, no matter what NBC will claim.

To be fair, without NCIS’ lead-in, the situation would probably reverse itself, but maybe not.

But the long and short of it is there was no new hits this season again…
