    • Marc, what do you think of the idea of “This is Us” being Wednesday at 8PM in the Fall? It would beat everything including the Goldbergs. And it’s a family drama so 8PM is suitable. I think SVU should be pushed to a 10PM slot. It use to thrive Tuesday at 10PM. I guess Thursday at 10PM is an option.

  3. FROM ABC

ABC Wednesday Prime (8-11pm – 5.2 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): As Modern Family and The Goldbergs returned to originals for the first time in 1 month (since 1/11/17) and Speechles, black-ish and Match Game for the first time in 3 weeks (since 1/18/17), ABC won Wednesday over all-original competition among Adults 18-49 (1.5/5), leading Fox and NBC by 15% each (tied at 1.3/5) and CBS by 36% (1.1/4). The Net has now ranked #1 on 4 of the 6 Wednesdays in 2017.

    · ABC delivered Wednesday’s top TV shows in the key young adult sales demo: Modern Family (2.2/8) – #1, The Goldbergs(1.7/7) – #2, while Speechless (1.6/6) and black-ish (1.6/5) tied at #3. Modern Family was also Wednesday’s most watched TV show overall (7.2 million).

    · ABC’s 2-hour comedy block dominated from 8-10pm by 38% in Adults 18-49 (1.8/6) over runners-up NBC and Fox (tied at 1.3/5).

    · ABC’s black-ish grew by double digits from its last first-run airing in Total Viewers (+17% – 5.4 million vs. 4.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (+14% – 1.6/5 vs. 1.4/5).

    · At 10pm, ABC’s Match Game took 2nd place in Adults 18-49 (1.0/4) to NBC’s Chicago PD, holding exactly even with its last original airing 3 weeks ago (1.0/4 on 1/18/17). In addition, the ABC game show increased its Total Viewer count from its last original (+3% – 3.6 million vs. 3.5 million).

  4. Congrats on SVU reaching a milestone. I propose a 10PM slot for it in the Fall. It doesn’t need a lead in. Thursday at 10PM?

This is Us for Wednesday at 8PM is my suggestion. It would beat the Goldbergs with ease and help settle the night. And something else for 9PM.

Blindspot may end up on Friday along with possibly the Blacklist in the Fall.

Code Black is probably a goner. I did enjoy the show though.

    • With the (presumably) final eclipse of Criminal Minds’ ratings, Wednesday is now a dry, desert ratings land… 🙁
