‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ and ‘Right This Minute’ Renewed for 2017-18

Both First-Run Strips Confirmed for One Additional Season

First-run strips “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and “Right This Minutes,” both from Disney/ABC Television Distribution, have been renewed on the ABC owned stations for next season. The news comes just days before the annual National Television Program Executives (NATPE) conference in Miami.

Currently hosted by “The Bachelor’s” Chris Harrison, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” based on the former primetime game show, debuted in daytime syndication on Sept. 16, 2002. “Right This Minute,” which showcases a broad mix of viral videos trending online as well as caught-on-tape footage of stories in the news, is now in season five.
