Washington Huskies Radio Call of Dramatic Punt Return for Touchdown

“Dante Pettis! TOUCHDOWN WASHINGTON! Are you kidding me? Oh baby!”

Those were the words uttered by Washington IMG Sports Network play-by-play announcer Bob Rondeau calling this key 58-yard punt return for a touchdown by Pettis (wearing jersey number 8) for the University of Washington late in the fourth quarter. It was a score that would give them a 31-24 win over Utah and helped keep them heavily in College Football Playoff contention.

It was Pettis’ fifth career punt return touchdown, a new University of Washington football record.
