After a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LPGA Tour’s CP Women’s Open returns. The Canadian National Championship golf will take place from 25-28 August 2022 in The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ottawa.

Tournament Preview:

After a two-year break, Canada’s most prominent women’s golf event is making a grand return with a star-packed field. The 156-player field is led by world No. 1 and the defending champion Jin Young Ko of Korea.

The top 7 golfers of the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings will compete in Ottawa on Thursday.

Alongside Jin Young Ko, the field includes U.S. Women’s Open Champion and world no. 2 Minjee Lee, Canada’s own Brooke Henderson, who won multiple titles this season, and world no. 3 Nelly Korda. She is coming off hot from a win in Sotogrande.

The golfers will fly high for total prize money of $2,350,000. It will be a 72-hole competition, and there will be a cut after the first two rounds (36-hole).

The Ottawa Hunting and Golf Club in Ottawa will provide the setting for the CP Women’s Open 2022. It’s a par-71 course of 6546 yards.

CP Women’s Open Live Stream and TV Coverage Info

Golf Channel will broadcast the CP Women’s Open live on TV. They will provide the coverage of the first three rounds on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and early coverage on Sunday. CBS will then catch up on Sunday’s coverage for the rest of the final round.

Fans can watch the CP Women’s Open live stream on NBCSports.com, NBC Sports app, and Paramount+ for Round 4 on Sunday.

In Canada, it will be available on TSN and RDS for the French-speaking audience. You can stream it on TSN.ca or in the TSN app.
