Wednesday Final Nationals: ESPN Tops Night with College Football’s Music City Bowl

A light programming schedule on the broadcast networks paved the way for ESPN to win this Wednesday evening among total viewers and all key demos, courtesy of college football’s Music City Bowl between Louisville and Texas A&M.

At 5.423 million total viewers, a 1.49 rating in adults 18-49, a 1.21 rating in adults 18-34 and a 1.76 rating among adults 25-54, drew the most total viewers for a Music City Bowl game since 2010 (North Carolina/Tennessee, 7.1 million) and ranks as the second-biggest audience for this particular bowl within the past decade (2006-15).
