On the third night of the 2016-17 traditional television season, it was one of the rare prime times where four networks could boast positive figures for its fall season or series premieres.
ABC placed a close runner-up to Fox. The night’s top series debut was one of the fall’s most-highly anticipated new series, “Designated Survivor” which stars Kiefer Sutherland as the new POTUS. It was only one of two telecasts on the evening to draw more than 10 million same-day viewers.
