Ratings Breakdown:
A one-hour edition of “America’s Got Talent” led NBC to Wednesday overnight victory, with a 6.4 rating/12 share in households. Comparably, that bested competing “Big Brother” on CBS (#2: 3.7/ 7) by 73 percent.

In the specials department was part one of “The Story of the Royals” on ABC, with a 3.2/ 6 in households from 9-11 p.m., which finished second in the block behind the 3.5/ 6 for competing “World of Dance” on NBC. The conclusion of “The Story of the Royals” airs this evening.

Also original last night was two hours of “MasterChef” on Fox at a 2.4/ 4 from 8-10 p.m., and “The Burden of Truth” on The CW at a 0.5/ 1 in the 8 p.m. hour.
