Ratings Breakdown:
NBC led the midweek overnight troops thanks to the live one-hour “America’s Got Talent” results show. “AGT” topped the night with ease at a 5.5 rating/11 share in the household overnights, which was 77 percent above competing “Big Brother” on CBS (#2: 3.1/ 6). With ample lead-in support, “Songland,” now in the Wednesday 9 p.m. ET hour on NBC, won the hour with a 2.6/ 5. But that was 56 percent below the 8:30 p.m. portion of “AGT” (5.6/11).

In week two news, reboot “BH9020” on Fox dropped by 33 percent with a 2.2/ 4 (#2, tied with the season finale of “Card Sharks” on ABC). Keep in mind that most new series decline by 10 to 20 percent in week two, so consider this severe. Comparably, “BH90210” decreased from lead-in “Masterchef” (#3: 2.7/ 5 at 8 p.m.) by 19 percent. Elsewhere, NBC drama “The InBetween” finished second at 10 p.m. with a modest 1.8/ 4. “Hypnotize Me” on The CW scored a mere 0.4/ 1 (#5) at 9 p.m., which was 33 percent below lead-in crime drama “Bulletproof” (#5: 0.6/ 1 at 8 p.m.). And the remainder of the evening fared as follows:
