Ratings Breakdown:
It was a clean household overnight sweep for NBC care of its Chicago-set combination of dramas “Chicago Med” (#1 for the night: 5.4 rating/9 share), “Chicago Fire” (5.3/ 9) and “Chicago PD” (4.8/ 9). Congratulations to NBC for clearly coming up with the best programming move of this season to-date.

On CBS, “Survivor” remains a consistent performer, with a 4.9/ 8 (#2) in the 8 p.m. hour. Kudos to Mark Burnett and company for this particularly addictive season. And that led into Wednesday 9-11 p.m. dramas “SEAL Team” (#3: 3.5/ 6) and veteran “Criminal Minds” (#2: 3.2/ 6), which both remain on the year-to-year downside.

Elsewhere, the winter season finale installments of Fox dramas “Empire” (#3: 4.1/ 7 at 8 p.m.) and “Star” (#4: 3.2/ 5 at 9 p.m.) were both on the minor rise. ABC and The CW, meanwhile, were at typical midweek overnight household levels as follows:
