Ratings Breakdown:
NBC’s “Chicago” drama trio — “Chicago Med” (#1 for the night: 5.5 rating/10 share at 8 p.m.), “Chicago Fire” (5.4/ 9 at 9 p.m.) and “Chicago PD” (4.8/ 9 at 10 p.m.) — swept the evening, each finishing first in their time periods in the household overnights. Overall, NBC designating Wednesday for the Dick Wolf “Chicago” trio was the best programming move of any broadcast network this season.

On CBS, veteran “Survivor” shows no signs of ever ending, with a consistent 4.6/ 8 in households. Next was recent returnee “The Amazing Race,” featuring teams this season from “Survivor,” “Big Brother” and “The Amazing Race,” at a 3.0/ 5 (#2) at 9 p.m. And that led into relocated drama “SEAL Team” at a modest 2.7/ 5 at 10 p.m. (#2), which was still 29 percent above competing “Whiskey Cavalier” on ABC (#3: 2.1/ 4).

Elsewhere, ABC’s 8-10 p.m. sitcom rotation was in repeats, and dramas on Fox and The CW were at typical Wednesday overnight levels as follows:
