Ratings Breakdown:
NBC, of course, was the network to beat with the season-finale of summer favorite “America’s Got Talent” at a hefty 7.4 rating/13 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. ET. But the series premiere/preview of upcoming NBC late night entry “A Little Late 2ith Lilly Singh” fumbled the lead-in support with a modest 1.8/ 4 (#2t) in the 10 p.m. hour. Comparably, that was 73 percent below the 9:30 p.m. portion of “AGT” (7.9/14). “A Little Late with Lilly Singh” airs weeknights at 1:35 a.m. ET.

Also concluding for the season was Fox’s veteran “Masterchef” at a 2.7/ 5 from 8-10 p.m. The 8-9 portion of “Masterchef” (2.6/ 5) trailed competing “Big Brother” on CBS (#2: 3.3/ 6) by 21 percent.
