Ratings Breakdown:
NBC topped this second Wednesday in June care of the seventh – and final – game of the Stanley Cup Final (congratulations, St. Louis Blues!), which averaged an estimated 6.2 rating/19 share in the household overnights in primetime.

ABC was no slouch opposite the Blues victory. While not significant, the debut of the Wednesday night game show trio – “Press Your Luck” (#2: 3.5/ 7 at 8 p.m.), “Card Sharks” (#2: 3.2/ 6) and the return of “The Match Game” (#2: 2.8/ 5 at 10 p.m.) – was a marked improvement over encore telecasts of sitcoms and “Shark Tank” on the year-ago evening. “Press Your Luck” in the Wednesday 8 p.m. hour was also a noticeable improvement from its premiere/preview in the Tuesday 10 p.m. hour this week (2.2/ 4).

Also in series premiere news was Fox reality series “First Responders” at a less-than modest (and fourth-place) 1.6/ 3 in the household overnights at 9 p.m. Its lead-in, “MasterChef,” scored a 2.2/ 4 at 8 p.m.

Also original last night was the pairing of “The Amazing Race” (#3: 3.3/ 6) and “NCIS: The Cases They Forgot” (#3: 2.4/ 4) from 8-10 p.m., and soon-to-conclude “Jane the Virgin” on The CW at a 0.6/ 1 (#5) at 9 p.m.
