Veteran “Big Brother” on CBS was the top Wednesday draw with 3.30 million viewers and a 0.6 rating/6 share in adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. ET (which certainly indicates how fall the broadcast networks have fallen). It led into competition series “The Challenge”, which dipped to 2.13 million viewers (#2) and a 0.3/ 3 in the demo (#1t) at 9 p.m. And it faced “Masterchef” on Fox, which scored 2.13 million viewers (#3) and a 0.4/ 4 in adults 18-49 (#2) at 9 p.m.

In the specials department (which was not so special) was “Shark Beach with Chris Hemsworth on ABC (Viewers: #4, 1.82 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.2/ 3 at 8 p.m.), which led into two repeat episodes of “Shark Tank.”

Also original was Fox’s tired “So You Think You Can Dance” (Viewers: #4, 1.52 million; A18-49: #1t, 0.3/ 3 at 9 p.m.), and The CW’s pairing of “Mysteries Decoded” (Viewers: 559,000; A18-49: 00/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and two episodes (original and repeat) of “Wellington Paranormal” (Viewers: 241,000; A18-49: 0.0/ 0 from 9-10 p.m.). The real mystery is what happened to The CW’s audience.

The remainder of the evening were encore telecasts.
