Wednesday Ratings: Game 3 of The NBA Finals Ignites ABC

Adults 18-49:
ABC: 2.1 rating/18 share, CBS and Fox: 0.3/ 3 each, NBC: 0.3/ 2, CW: 0.1/ 1

ABC, of course, led this second Wednesday in June care of game three of the NBA Finals (Boston Celtics 116, Golden State Warriors 100) at an estimated 8.20 million viewers and a 2.6 rating/22 share in adults 18-49 for the primetime portion. Keep in mind, of course, that results for any live event are always very approximate.

Earlier in the evening on ABC was a half-hour edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and the NBA Countdown pregame from 8-9 p.m. ET.

Elsewhere, CBS featured primetime editions of game shows “Let’s Make a Deal” (Viewers: #2, 3.52 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.3/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and “Let’s Make a Deal” (Viewers: #2, 3.53 million; A18-49: #2, 0.4/ 3 at 9 p.m.) into a repeat of “S.W.A.T.” at 10 p.m. Fox offered “Masterchef” (Viewers: #4, 2.11 million; A18-49: #2, 0.4/ 4 at 8 p.m.) and the unnecessary return of “So You Think You Can Dance” (Viewers: #4, 1.38 million; A18-49: #3, 0.3/ 2 at 9 p.m.). And The CW featured “The Flash” (Viewers: 595,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “Kung Fu” (Viewers: 464,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 9 p.m.).
