Wednesday Ratings Scorecard: Fox’s ‘Almost Family’ Squanders Lead-In Support from ‘The Masked Singer’

Key Observations:
-Week two of Fox drama “Almost Family” lost more than half of the audience from lead-in “The Masked Singer” last night.

-NBC offers the most consistent schedule on Wednesday with regularly scheduled programs than any network all week care of “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago PD.”

-No show on The CW, the season premiere of “Riverdale” and the series launch of “Nancy Drew” last night, resonates via the live Nielsen ratings. DVR playback and social media interest remain key benchmarks.

-CBS’ relocated “S.W.A.T.” remained the third place occupant in the Wednesday 10 p.m. hour.

-The reunion of sorts of Kirstie Alley, Rhea Perlman, George Wendt and John Ratzenberger from “Cheers” only gave ABC’s “The Goldbergs” a minor boost.

-ABC’s “Stumptown” is not benefiting out of the lack of lead-in support from sophomore sitcom “Single Parents.”

-ABC is wise to finally be ending “Modern Family” this season.
