Lost Ark System Requirements

Lost Ark’s gorgeous graphics and massive content tend to intimidate gamers with lower-end PCs. Fortunately, running the game at the minimum requirements doesn’t need much.

Lost Ark West has been out for several months now, and many new players are still keen on making their Lost Ark accounts. The MMO ARPG is famous for its gorgeous graphics, outstanding visuals, and expansive world setting. Most gamers are intimidated by the game’s graphics since they think that the computer specs needed for the game are high. Fortunately for them, the minimum requirements for the popular MMO ARPG are lower than expected.

Lost Ark System Requirements

The good news for Lost Ark gamers is that they don’t need the strongest and most updated PCs to farm Lost Ark gold in the world of Arkesia. They just need a modern setup to run the game smoothly. Here are what Amazon recommends as the minimum and recommended system requirements of the game:

Minimum Specs

  • Needs a 64-bit processor and OS
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processors: Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3
  • Memory: 8 GB Ram
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 460 or AMD Radeon HD 6850
  • DirectX: Version 9 or higher
  • Network: Broadband Internet Connection
  • Storage: 50 GB
  • VRAM: 1GB

Recommended Specs

  • Needs a 64-bit processor and OS
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processors: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5
  • Memory: 16 GB Ram
  • Graphics: 1080 FHD (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, NVIDIA GeForce 1050, or AMD Radeon HD 6850), 1440P QHD (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX5700XT), or Ultra Specs (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800)
  • DirectX: Version 9 or higher
  • Network: Broadband Internet Connection
  • Storage: 50 GB
  • VRAM: 2 GB

Though Lost Ark has recommended specs, playing with the minimum system requirements is just as good. Having either of these two will ensure that the game will run smoothly. Those with the minimum specs will have to ensure that their in-game settings are set to the appropriate qualities to avoid any issues.

Lost Ark Optimization

For many experienced players, higher FPS are needed to ensure that players can run the game decently and will not experience any stuttering. For a game such as Lost Ark that has so many things going on at once, maintaining a stable FPS can be quite a challenge for those who run on the minimum requirements. Fortunately, there are several ways to ensure that gamers won’t experience any lags or FPS drop problems while they play.

How to Boost FPS?

Obviously, the best way to run Lost Ark on default settings is to upgrade the physical components of the PC. However, not everyone has the luxury of doing this. The best alternative is to tweak the in-game settings to bring the quality of the graphics down to a certain point. Here is the best setup for Lost Ark to have a performance game:

  • DirectX: DirectX11
  • Resolution: It depends on the gamers’ monitor or screen size. However, the general idea is that the lower solution the PC has, the higher the FPS. Players running at the minimum spec can consider downgrading this part a bit.
  • Screen: Fullscreen
  • Texture Quality: Low to Medium
  • Shadow Quality: Low to Medium
  • Character Quality: Low to Medium
  • Particle Quality: Low to Medium
  • Anti-Aliasing: None
  • Better Depth of Field: Off
  • Indirect Shadows: Off
  • Motion Blur: Off
  • Bloom Effect: Off
  • Distortion Effect: Off
  • Flare Effect: Off

For players running the game on the recommended specs or higher, they can run the following in-game settings:

  • DirectX: DirectX11
  • Resolution: It depends on the monitor or screen size.
  • Screen: Fullscreen
  • Texture Quality: High or Very High
  • Shadow Quality: High or Very High
  • Character Quality: High or Very High
  • Particle Quality: High or Very High
  • Anti-Aliasing: High
  • Better Depth of Field: On
  • Indirect Shadows: On
  • Motion Blur: On
  • Bloom Effect: On
  • Distortion Effect: On
  • Flare Effect: On

The best way to test whether these settings will work optimally or not is to try them out first. Testing out these in-game setups can be done by going to highly populated areas and checking whether the FPS drops or not. Alternatively, gamers can test the settings by participating in activities where many skills can be seen on the screen. Ideally, the game should be played at 60 FPS and above to enjoy farming Lost Ark currency
