Will Ferrell Records Several Hilarious Goodbyes for Conan O’Brien’s Future Projects

Conan O’Brien bid adieu to his 28-year stint on late night television on June 24 on the final edition of his nightly TBS talker “Conan” which concluded after 11 years.

Guest appearing via webcam was former “SNL” alum Will Ferrell. Ferrell was quick to mention that he also was a guest on the final episodes of NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” in 2009 and the short-lived “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” in 2010. This prompted him to pre-tape future goodbyes to Conan, including Conan’s upcoming HBO Max program — Ferrell joked: “Some people say six episodes isn’t a lot but you packed enough energy and entertainment in them for eight episodes.”

Ferrell also wished Conan farewell for made-up future projects like talk shows on Al-Jazeera and Delta Airlines, as well as hosting gigs of reality series “Videos of People Dry-Humping in Trucks” and “Celebrity Room Temperature Oyster Eating Contest.”
