‘Wings’ Star David Schramm Dies at 73

Actor Appeared in All 172 Episodes of the Sitcom

Schramm, who is remembered for his role as Roy Biggins on NBC sitcom “Wings,” has passed away at the age of 73.

Born on August 14, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky, Schramm’s early TV appearances include TV movie “The Dreamer of Oz: The L. Frank Baum Story; miniseries “Kennedy;” daytime dramas “Another World;” primetime dramas “The Equalizer,” “Miami Vice,” “Wiseguy” and “Jake and the Fatman;” and short-lived sitcom “Working Girl,” opposite a young Sandra Bullock.

After “Wings,” Schramm returned to acting on stage both in theaters across the country and on Broadway.
