NBC announced on Monday who’ll be hosting five episodes of the 45th season of “Saturday Night Live” this fall, which will premiere on September 28, 2019 at 11:29 p.m. ET/8:29 p.m. PT.
Woody Harrelson, soon appearing in the theatrical film release “Zombieland: Double Tap”, the sequel to the 2009 flick “Zombieland”, will host the season premiere with musical guest Billie Eilish, the 17 year-old singer-songwriter whose song “Bad Guy” hit No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart this summer.
In the following weeks:
- October 5, 2019: Phoebe Waller-Bridge (“Fleabag” star, “Killing Eve” producer/season 1 showrunner) hosts; Taylor Swift (“Lover” album) as musical guest
- October 12, 2019: David Harbour (“Stranger Things” star) hosts; Camila Cabello as musical guest
- November 2, 2019: Kristen Stewart hosts; musical guest to be announced
Lastly, for the first time since Dec. 15, 1984, legendary SNL alum Eddie Murphy will host the December 21, 2019 edition. Murphy was previously a cast member from 1980-84, and then rocketed to film stardom in the 80’s with hits like “Trading Places”, “Beverly Hills Cop” and “Coming to America.”
