‘The Young and the Restless’ Leads the Daytime Emmy Award Nominations

CBS the Most Network with 70 Nods

The National Academy of Television has announced the nominations for the 2017 Daytime Emmy Awards. “The Young and the Restless” leads the pack with 25 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, two spots for Outstanding Lead Actress for Gina Tognoni and Jess Walton, and two for Outstanding Lead Actor for Peter Bergman and Kristoff St. John. CBS is the most nominated network, with 70 nods.

Competing for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show are “The View,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Maury,” “Live With Kelly,” and “The Talk.” And competing for Outstanding Game Show are “Celebrity Name Game,” “Family Feud,” “Jeopardy,” “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price Is Right”

The 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will take place April 30, in Pasadena, California. Here is the full list of nominees:

  1. Good Luck, Y&R! Going against those hundreds and hundreds of primetime shows and those thousands of primetime actors. Oh, wait! This is the Daytime Emmys, and they are a joke when there are only 4 shows and just a few dozen actors!
