2016 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament First Round TV Schedule (March 18-19, 2016)

March 14 was Selection Monday for the 64 women’s teams; their seedings and regions were announced for the upcoming annual tournament to ultimately determine college’s women’s national champion in Division I basketball.

There will be 63 tournament games televised on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3. The tournament’s early round games will air regionally, according to its suitable television market.

Connecticut is chasing history for a record 11th and fourth straight title for the senior class. Senior class member Breanna Stewart chases her own history trying to become the first-ever collegiate athlete to be named MVP for four straight years.

The Final Four and national title games will be held in Indianapolis, Ind. on Apr. 3 and Apr. 5 — all three games will air on ESPN.
