2017 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Quarterfinal TV Schedule

The 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs have arrived!

Starting April 12 and for the next two months, up to 16 teams — eight from each the Eastern and Western conferences — will vie for the coveted Stanley Cup trophy.

The top three teams in each of the four divisions (Atlantic and Metropolitan of the East, Central and Pacific of the West) qualify. The best two remaining teams in each conference, regardless of division, also qualify and are known as Wild Cards.

For the playoffs’ first round, the team with the conference’s best record plays the lower-ranked Wild Card, while the conference’s other division winner plays the higher-ranked Wild Card. The second-ranked and third-ranked teams within each division face off.

All series are Best 4-out-of-7.

The networks of NBC — NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, USA Network and NHL Network — will broadcast all the action in the United States.

Four-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike “Doc” Emrick, U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member and analyst Eddie Olczyk, and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire will serve as the lead commentary team throughout the postseason and into the Stanley Cup Final.
