The CW Extends Episode Order of ‘D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow’

Four Additional Episodes Ordered

The CW’s sophomore “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” has had its episode order increased from 13 to 17 hours this season. Debuting on Jan. 21, 2016, “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” is based on the characters in DC Comics, and is one of the four current comic book superheroes-themed series populating The CW, including The Flash, Arrow and recent entry “Supergirl.” Both “The Flash” and Arrow” are ordered for 23 episodes this season, while “Supergirl,” which was acquired from CBS, has 22.

No decision has been made on current freshman dramas “Frequency” and “No Tomorrow,” which are both lacking in the traditional Nielsen ratings. Coming up in midseason on The CW is new drama “Riverdale,” based on the “Archie” comic cook characters, and returning dramas “iZombie,” “Reign,” “The Originals” and “The 100.”
