NBC Retools Tuesday and Thursday; “This Is Us” Moves Back to Tuesday

After boldly announcing at its upfront it was moving “This Is Us” from Tuesday to Thursday in an attempt to bring back “Must See TV,” NBC has now decided to leave the soon-to-be sophomore relationship drama in the Tuesday 9 p.m. hour. It will lead out of “The Voice” into debuting “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Brothers,” which was originally scheduled in the Thursday 10 p.m. hour. NBC will now feature four comedies in the Thursday 8-10 p.m. ET block – “Superstore,” “The Good Place,” the revival of “Will & Grace” and “Great News” – into “Chicago Fire.” Here are the new retooled nights:

Tuesday
8:00 p.m. “The Voice”
9:00 p.m. “This Is Us”
10:00 p.m. “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Brothers” (new)

Thursday
8:00 p.m. “Superstore”
8:30 p.m. “The Good Place”
9:00 p.m. “Will & Grace” (new)
9:30 p.m. “Great News”
10:00 p.m. “Chicago Fire” (new day)
