2018 Critics’ Choice Awards Nominations Announced

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, the Critics’ Choice Awards announced the nominees for its 23rd annual edition.

FX’s “Feud: Bette and Joan” received the most nominations with six overall, including Best Limited Series and Best Actress in a Movie Made for TV or Limited Series for star Jessica Lange.

Other contending limited series such as FX’s “Fargo” and HBO’s “Big Little Lies” each scored five nominations.

Thanks to “Stranger Things”, “The Crown”, and “American Vandal”, Netflix earned the most nominations for any outlet with 20. HBO was runner-up with 15 nominations, followed by FX (with 13) and ABC (with 12).

The 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards will take place at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at 8 pm and will air on The CW.

  1. Would love to see Mayim Bialk win anything. She added so much to TBBT. I think it would be hard for any actor to join an established show. She not only fit in so smoothly, she has owned that character and added a whole new dimension to the show.

      • I agree about Mullally. Just that one episode alone with Rosario’s death should earn her a nomination. A bit surprised, too, that the guy who plays Kevin on This Is Us was not nominated.
