“CODA,” “Succession” and “Ted Lasso” led the ensemble winners in film and TV at the 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which was broadcast live on TNT and TBS from the Santa Monica Barker Hangar (and will be available to stream on HBO Max on Monday).
The television categories were led by “Succession” and “Ted Lasso,” while Korea’s “Squid Game” made history with as the first non-English show to be recognized by the Guild (with Jung Ho-yeon and Lee Jung-Jae cited in the categories of Outstanding Performance by a Female and Male Actor in a Drama Series, respectively, and a win for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series).
During the ceremony, Kate Winslet presented Dame Helen Mirren with the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award.
