TBS Renews ‘American Dad’ For Two Additional Seasons

The Veteran Animated Comedy Now Confirmed Through the 2023-24 TV Season

TBS has handed a two-season renewal to veteran animated comedy “American Dad”, taking it through seasons 18 and 19. Debuting in February 2005, “American Dad” aired on Fox 11 seasons before moving to the cable network in October 2014.

Created by Seth MacFarlane, “American Dad” focuses on the eccentric upper middle class Smith family in the fictional community of Langley Falls, Virginia and their four housemates: The voice cast includes Seth and Wendy MacFarlane, Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, Dee Bradley Baker and Patrick Stewart.
