The Rams routed the Cardinals in the NFC Wildcard Round, 34-11 on January 17. In the NFC Championship Game, the 49ers opened a 10-point lead in the second-half before the Rams bolted back for a 20-17 victory. Matthew Stafford found his favorite target Cooper Kupp 11 times for 142 yards and two touchdowns. Stafford threw for 337 yards in the win, advancing the Rams to their fifth Super Bowl appearance.
The Bengals are making their first trip to the Super Bowl since the 1988 season and third overall. They have yet to win a Super Bowl title.
