NFL Kick-Off Game Reaches Over 25-Million Viewers

NBC is reporting 25.4 million viewers in total for the Denver Broncos’ 21-20 victory over the Carolina Panthers in a Super Bowl 50 rematch on NBC on Thursday. This was across NBC and NBC Sports Digital platforms – marking the fourth consecutive year that NBC Sports’ presentation of the “NFL Kickoff” game topped 25 million viewers, according to Fast National data released by Nielsen, and digital data from Adobe Analytics.

The NBC-only broadcast of Panthers-Broncos averaged 25.2 million viewers. The average minute audience for last night’s live stream via the NBC Sports app, NBCSports.com, NBC.com ‘TV Everywhere,’ and NFL Mobile from Verizon was 278,000 viewers.
