‘SNL’ Weekend Update: Jose Suarez Intends to be the First Latino U.S. President

During the “Weekend Update” portion of the November 12, 2022 edition of NBC’s “SNL” (“Saturday Night Live“), anchor Colin Jost introduced a Cuban man named Jose Suarez (Marcello Hernandez) who expressed his intentions to be the first Latino-American President of the United States.

Suarez’s campaign slogan is “Everything Is Basically Fine. So Relax, Okay? It’s Fine!” He also provided his thoughts on the rising prices of gas and milk, and the insufficient availability of Wi-Fi internet.
