In series premiere news, ABC summer drama “Grand Hotel” was moderately sampled at a 2.9 rating/6 share in the household overnights (#1) in the 10 p.m. hour. Comparably, this was slightly above competing “Dateline” on NBC (#2: 2.9/ 6) and an encore telecast of “Bull” on CBS (#3: 2.7/ 5); and it held 76 percent of the 9:30 p.m. portion of lead-in “The Bachelorette” (3.8/ 7).
