ABC Announces 11th — And Final — Season of “Modern Family”

Sitcom to Conclude in Spring 2020

ABC will conclude its multi-Emmy Award winning sitcom next spring after 11 seasons. Produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions and Picador Productions, the series will cross the 250-episode mark upon completion.

Historically, “Modern Family” will end tied as the third longest scripted network series (tied with “Cheers” and “Frasier”) behind “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” (14 seasons) and “My Three Sons,” “Two and a “Half Men” and “The Big Bang Theory” (12 seasons each).
