CBS sitcom “Mom,” starring Ana Faris and multiple Emmy Award winner Allison Janney, has been renewed for additional seasons. That will take it through at least the spring of 2021, marking eight seasons.

Debuting on Sept. 23, 2013, ‘Mom’ stars Christy Plunkett (Faris), a single mother who, after dealing with her battle with alcoholism and drug abuse, decides to restart her life in Napa, California. “Her mother Bonnie Plunkett (Allison Janney) is also a recovering addict.
