    • Same here NFL Playoffs all weekend.

So who do you think is going to be the Lions new head coach, I think it will either be Matt Patricia Pats DC or Mike V Texans DC as they are both from the Pats coaching tree and because Bob Quinn is also a Pats tree and knows them pretty well. I’ll be happy with either one or anyone on the list. I just didn’t believe that Jim Caldwell was going to take the Lions to the next level only win 8 or 10 wins a year plus a bad in game manger as well.

      • Yep you know us football fans gonna be all over that even with the Lions out although I will spend sometime watching the trials on NBC and NBCSN as well.
Great question and I’m glad we’re getting a chance to talk about the Lions head coaching changes now. I think it will be Matt Patricia and that’s who I want the most and I expect it to be someone from the Pats coaching tree because of the Bob Quinn connection because the players he’s been drafting are Patriot type players. I think Mike Vrabel could possibly be his second choice who I’m actually really want them to take a look at if Patricia takes another job. I want a Pats coach at all costs and I’m not falling for the whole nobody works out well outside of the Pats organization. My biggest question is if one of these guys are hired will we finally switch to a 3-4 defense? I think our players fit that defensive scheme better.

I’m with you on Caldwell I wanted him out so there was a little bit of relief on my end when we lost against the Bengals although I still wanted to make the playoffs but I knew it was going to get Caldwell out of here. He was a bad game manager and he wasn’t a good fit with Quinn’s direction for the team. Like you said he was not going to take the Lions to the next level which needs to be a Super Bowl contending team. This is a Ric Carlisle to Larry Brown type move here, get the championship coach in here so Stafford can win this first title with us.
