ABC Renews ‘The Conners’ for Season Two

Thirteen New Episodes Ordered

Sitcom “The Conners,” the continuation of “Roseanne” (sans Ms. Barr), has been greenlit for a second season by ABC. The episode order in season two will be increased from 11 to 13.

“We are proud to be continuing the story of the iconic Conners family,” Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, said in a statement. “This team is fearless in their willingness to tackle contemporary issues with humor and heart, and I have no doubt they will continue to outdo themselves.”

Confirmed to officially return, at present, are John Goodman, Laurie Metcalfe, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Ames McNamara.
