Ratings Breakdown:
HUT levels from last night were below typical season to-date Monday levels due to Halloween, of course. With that in mind, ABC topped the evening thanks to veteran “Dancing With the Stars” at a 7.2 rating/12 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. But NBC owns the night in adults 18-49 (and all the key young adult demographics) courtesy of “The Voice,” which scored a 6.0/10 in the metered markets opposite “Dancing With the Stars.”

The perennial older-skewing strength of “Dancing With the Stars” did not benefit annual special, “All Access Nashville: Celebrating the CMA Awards with Robin Roberts,” which dipped to a third-place 3.0/ 5 at 10 p.m. Comparably, the Robin Roberts-hosted hour was down by 17 percent from the 3.6/ 6 on the year-ago evening, which translated into just 4.98 million viewers and a 0.8 rating/3 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data.

Tops in the 10 p.m. hour was “Scorpion” on CBS at a 4.5/ 8, which was 27 percent below the 6.2/ 9 in the overnights on the year-ago evening at 9 p.m., followed by recent NBC drama entry “Timeless” at a 3.4/ 6. One year earlier, former NBC Monday 10 p.m. time period occupant “The Blacklist” scored a notably stronger 5.1/ 9.

In week two news, Matt LeBlanc CBS sitcom “Man with a Plan” scored a 3.8/ 7 at 8:30 p.m., which was 22 percent below the 4.9/ 7 for the series-opener one week earlier. Comparably, that 4.9 household rating translated into 7.42 million viewers and a 1.6 rating/5 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data. Overnight retention for “Man with a Plan” out of lead-in “Kevin Can Wait” (#3: 4.2/ 7 at 8 p.m.) was still solid, however, at 90 percent.

Next on CBS was the 9-10 p.m. combination of sitcoms “2 Broke Girls” (#3: 3.3/ 5) and “The Odd Couple” (#3: 2.8/ 4), which combined slipped by 51 percent from aforementioned former time period occupant “Scorpion” one year earlier.

Elsewhere, “Supergirl” remains a solid fit on The CW, with a 1.6/ 3 in the 8 p.m. hour an improvement of 100 percent from year-ago time period occupant “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (0.8/ 1 on 11/03/15). But lead-out “Jane the Virgin” sunk to a 0.8/ 1 (#5) at 9 p.m.

Fox capped off this first Monday of the November sweeps with the drama combination of “Gotham” (#4: 2.4/ 4) and just full-season renewed “Lucifer” (#4: 2.5/ 4), which deserves positive mention for consistently holding the “Gotham” lead-in.
