Acorn TV Renews Drama ‘Agatha Raisin’ for Season 3

Production to Begin in Mid-March

Acorn TV has greenlit mystery drama “Agatha Raisin” for a third season, with a pick-up for three episodes and a winter special. Based on the book series, Agatha Raisin is described as a frustrated, yet endearing, middle-aged public-relations agent who moved from London to Carsely in the Cotswolds when she sold her public-relations firm. She solves murders in each of the earlier books, but in the fifteenth book she sets up her own detective agency.

The new season begins production in mid-March with and the novels being adapted are “Agatha Raisin & the Haunted House,” “Agatha Raisin & the Deadly Dance,” “Agatha Raisin & the Love from Hell,” and, “Agatha Raisin & the Pig That Turned.
