Ratings Breakdown:
NBC towered over the Tuesday competition thanks to the most-watched series this summer, “America’s Got Talent,” which scored an 8.0 rating/14 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that bested ABC’s competing “Bachelor in Paradise” (3.0/ 5) by a whopping 167 percent.

Lifted by “America’s Got Talent,” a Tuesday 10 p.m. ET edition of NBC’s “Hollywood Game Night” was above average with a dominant 3.3/ 5. Comparably, that tripled ABC’s competing “Somewhere Between” (1.1/ 2), which is yet another new failing scripted drama this summer.

Elsewhere, repeat was the operative observation. But, the start of the 2017-18 TV season is now only 33 days away. That’s right – just over one month!
